Cathodic control using cellular automata approach

چکیده
We present a stochastic three-dimensional cellular automata model of aqueous corrosion. consider the cathodic reaction with dissolved oxygen and different concentrations oxidizer. study role stability passive layer its effect on kinetics, surface morphology, roughness metallic surface. The considers balanced spatially separated anodic reactions is capable illustrating control corrosion rate. Besides electrochemical reactions, we take into account ionic diffusion, acidic/basic neutralization. Results are compared to Fe in near-neutral solution.
